Posted from elsewhere for convenience...
As I've posted before, I'm part of a multiple system.
Okay, no big deal. Nothing special.
... Except I, and a few of the system members aside from myself, are getting REALLY REALLY tired of presenting as 'singlet'. Singlet being the term for 'someone who is not part of a multiple system'.
Why?
Day after day, we have to log onto site and pretend to always be one person. We have to talk to friends, family, and always pretend to be one and only one person. It doesn't matter if Greg wants to say hi, or if Amane wants to talk about her new favorite song, or if I just need to take a break and let someone else take over. It'd be too weird! People would be confused! What will the neighbors think?!
Well, blasts on that.
I don't care anymore if people think we're nuts, or laugh at us or anything else. If someone has something to say, I'm going to let them say it and they can freely let people know who they are! If someone wants to talk to someone, I'm going to let them tell people! No more switching around and just pretending to be the same person you were talking to mere minutes before. No more of this hiding crud.
Sure, some people are bound to be something-somethings about it, but we're done, done and done with pretending. If you don't like it, don't talk to us-- it's that easy.
That said... to ease ourselves into it, there's only going to be me (Will) and three other headmates around for the moment to get used to posting/get over shyness:
Rak. 34 years old, male.
Mara. 30 years old, female.
Amane. 22 years old, female.
Sometimes you'll notice a difference. Sometimes you won't. We're not all the same people-- we have differences and similarities, personalities and moods of our own just like any normal person.
Readers are encouraged to ask questions (to me OR to the others, the latter being ideal), so we can actually learn to open up and be more active. And not, you know, terrified of the 'outside world'. But hey, if you don't want to, I can go find someone who will, no pressure. ;]
*breathes*
The world is made up of many different people, and we're just wanting to be part of the world. Can't do that by being scared.
So, yeah. Here we are. S'up?
