Coming out to the "Other Half"

The "Other Half" being the vehemently ultra-conservative, Bible-thumping, hate-spewing, mentally unstable (hey, it's where I get it from!) paternal side of my family.

I'm actually pretty stoked. I mean, I've been out to my mom for over five years. I've been waiting to come out to my dad's side for safety reasons. My dad's an addict who is VERY mentally unstable. He's an undiagnosed bipolar pain killer addict who goes DAYS AND DAYS without sleeping with the temper of the most ferocious persuasions... but, he knows I'm gay. He's been asking for years. He's even asked my mom's new husband. ...uh, yes, awkward? He's also asked my mom and my sister... uh, pretty much everyone BUT me.

My grandmother is also unstable (as in calls and lives me messages while she's high--yes, HIGH--on OD'd meds). I won't be coming out to her directly, but she'll know. My aunt will know by association. Really, only my dad needs to know.

I'll let you guys how it goes. *cracks knuckles*

@dev: Uh... a mixture with a little bit more of the latter? At least it won't be a COMPLETE shock, even though the final revelation, as it were, is always like "??!!!!!!" for some reason.
