As usual, I am awake and on the computer late at night, while Sad Dog is sleeping. Well, I just watched Sad Dog sit up in bed, and - eyes still closed - crane his neck around as if he were searching for something in the room, before laying back down again. I woke him up laughing.
Anyone here a sleepwalker or sleeptalker or have any funny sleep habits? Any good stories about it?
Apparently I talk in my sleep. My mother has heard me laugh and Sad Dog has heard me say "Yeeeeaaaaah." But not much. It runs in the family. My father - a surgeon - will sometimes move his hands as if he's performing surgery in his sleep, and describe the process. It's rather creepy, actually.
What's also weird is when you hear noises that are taking place in real life, inside your dreams. Has that happened to anyone?

I was looking for looooove.
That's probably the most interesting story of my sleep shenanigans. My pa did a good one once though - it was a few years before I was born, we were absolutely dirty poor and my parents' relationship was hanging on by a thread. Pa was teaching for the first time ever - electronics, to guys that had more experience in it than him, with a worthlessly difficult curriculum and a 3rd shift schedule. He was stressed to the gills.
Well, ma was in the living room watching TV one morning after pa had come home to sleep. While she was watching, pa walked into the living room naked, sat in the middle of the floor, and started sleep-lecturing about transistors. He kept this up for about fifteen minutes until she managed to coax him back to bed.
Also you forgot to mention the time you were ghost crying.

On Saturday when I was at a resort with my family, I had to share a bed with my brother for a night. He was already asleep and I walked into the room and sat on the bed. I asked my brother if he was asleep, he turned over and sat up, eyes still closed and just stared at me. ; He's quite a notorious sleep talker. Once I had a legitimate conversation with him when he was sleeping.

I used to sleepwalk, now I just sleeptalk/cry. Tracy woke me up the other night sleep-crying. She had a dream about two birds being killed and smacked me right in the female part because she was flailing around. Needless to say, I hollered, lol.
Then, last night I woke myself up screaming, "I don't care!!" really loud because I was yelling at my dad in my dream... so... I talk often, and so does Tracy.

I've never been a sleepwalker, but I've been told I talk in my sleep. A couple months ago I woke up while I was doing a fist pump and saying "Gallifrey is safe now." I seriously wish I could remember what I was dreaming about. XD

Well, I don't sleeptalk...but I do weird things in my sleep. xD There's a king-sized bed and a sofa-bed in the masterbedroom...they are placed beside each other. My parents sleep on the king bed, I sleep on the sofa bed.
Well, because there was only one big blanket then...I was holding on to it...then fell asleep. Apparently my mother was groping around for the blanket too while she and I were asleep, and we had a blanket pulling fight. xD She pulled it towards her in her sleep, I pulled it towards me, and so on and so forth.
I also hug pillows to bed every night, and when I wake up in the morning the pillows always end up on the floor. xD

I throw stuff off my bed in my sleep, always have. I'll wake up to find my stuffed sheep on the other side of the room. Apparently I sleeptalk when I'm having a nightmare, because my mom once said I was sad about some little boy leaving.
